Requirements For Saudi Arabia Work Visa For Pakistani Candidates

Those who wish to work in Saudi Arabia in the near future require a ‘Saudi Work Visa’ which will permit them to live and work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia full-time. In order to proceed, you must already have a job offer, and will be required to provide the contract of employment, as well as official invitations and medical information. Once you arrive in Saudi Arabia, you will need to apply for the Iqama.

Application Process for KSA Work Visa

  • Job Offer: Obtain a job offer from a Saudi employer who will sponsor your visa.
  • Employer Application: Your employer submits the work visa application and necessary documents to the Saudi Ministry of Labor.
  • Medical Examination: Undergo a medical examination to confirm fitness for work.
  • Visa Approval: Wait for visa approval from the Ministry of Labor, receiving a Visa Authorization Number if approved.
  • Embassy Submission: Your employer sends the Visa Authorization Number and documents to the Saudi embassy or consulate for processing.
  • Receive Visa: Upon approval, receive your passport with the work visa and prepare for travel to Saudi Arabia.

KSA Work VISA Requirements From Employer

  • Demand Letter and Power of Attorney signed and stamped by the sponsor, attested from Saudi Chamber of Commerce (COC) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs KSA (MOFA). Demand letter MUST indicate block visa number, date, position and quantity. In the event of submitting the letter through an embassy-approved visa service agency, the demand letter should include language authorizing the agency to finalize all visa requirements.
  • Original Contract letter for individual from the Saudi company sponsoring the applicant, certified by both the Saudi Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • In case of unavailability of above said documents, Employer must have visa delegation to the hired recruitment agency, so agency can proceed officially to fulfil the requirements.
KSA Work Visa Requirements From Employee
  • A medical fitness report issued by the medical center recognized by the GAMCA. Medical reports must be no more than three (3) months past the date of issuance.
  • Candidates under the age of twenty-one (21) is not eligible for work visa.
  • Original passport (Including all old passports if any)
  • Original CNIC
  • Eight (8) passport size colored photographs on white background
  • Police Verification Report, issued within three (3) months prior to the date of application, with detailed information about applicant’s criminal record, if any. (Islamabad Saudi Consulate only)
  • Family Registration Certificate (FRC) (Karachi Saudi Consulate only)
  • Next of Kin CNIC copy (Blood Relation only)
  • International Bank Account Number (IBAN)
